The Foundation Stone of Redemption

So far we have put together what I have learned through the last forty years. Now we will build our foundation putting together all that we have learned. To start our foundation stone of redemption we will look at Yeshua before creation. Next we will look at Satan and then prophesy to complete our foundation. We will ask three questions about Yeshua. First, we ask is He God? Second, is He just a man born to a woman? Third, is He an angel created by God as some believe? To understand who Yeshua is we will follow Him through scripture. We know Yeshua was with God before the creation of the heavens and the earth. Within the mind of God, He set in time all that would take place for the redemption of the world.

"Now Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was." (John 17:5) "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for you loved Me before the foundation of the world." (John 17:24).

"For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you" (1 Peter 1:20). "According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood. May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure" (1 Peter 1:2). Now the question is: Have you been sprinkled by the blood of the one who died for you?

In the writings of the Rabbi's, they teach the first light created in the book of Genesis Chapter One was the Torah (the Word of God). Can the scriptures back up what these Rabbi's believed? " God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world." (Hebrews 1:1-2)

"Who has ascended into heaven and decended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son's name? Surely you know"! (Proverbs 30:4). Can we answer these questions that Solomon has asked.

"Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, let us go over to the other side of the lake. So they launched out. But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind decended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger. They came to Jesus and woke Him up, saying,Master, Master, we are perishing! And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm." (Luke 8:22-24; Matthew 14:25-33)

"No one has ascended into heaven, but He who decended from Heaven: the Son of man" (John 3:13). So far I believe we have answered the first pasrt of Solomon's question. Now can we answer the last part of Solomon's question.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." (John 1:1-3).

"He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God". (Revelation 19:13). We see Yeshua as the word of God all through the New Testament. Who's word did He speak? No other then the words of His Father. Who was His Father? No other then the God of the Old Testament. When we do away with the Old Testament. What happenes? We do away with the words of Yeshua as well as His Father who sent Him!

We see Jesus speaking the wisdom of God to a world who is perishing. "In Jesus is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge". (Colossians 2:3) Paul tells us about Jesus before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-9). "As obedient children, do not be comformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, You shall be holy, for I am Holy. If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each ones's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but He has appeared in these last times for the sake of you". (1 Peter 1:14-20)

"All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear." (Revelation 13:8-9) Jesus tells us; "you are the light of the world". (Matthew 5:14) "I am the light of the world; he who followes Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life". (John 8:12) "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world". (John 9:5)

Remember when the disciples saw Moses and Elijah with Jesus? "And He was transifigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light". (Matthew 17:1-6) Our next scripture will be in the New Jerusalem. "And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the lamb". (Revelation 21:23) I believe the Rabbi's are correct. They believed the Messiah would be called the word of God. He would also come in the flesh, and dwell with His people for a short time, and He would be God in the flesh. They believed God's Shekhinah (glory) would dwell within His flesh, and He would be God. "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form". (Colossians 2:9) These ancient writers understood the word of God,"they were entrusted with the oracles of God". (Romans 3:12) Yeshua was and is God's word.

To answer our second question was Jesus just a man. Yeshua refered many times to Himself as the son of man. Yeshua had no earthly father He was born from the seed of a woman only. He was human as well as divine as He was the Son of God. "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served. but to serve, and to give His life for many."(Matthew 20:28) Now we ask what made Him divine? "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) John tells us Jesus existed before him. (John 1:15) "Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born I am." (John 8:58)"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)

To answer our third question was Jesus created as an angel. "For to which of the angels did He ever say, you are My Son, today I have begotten You? And again I will be a Father to Him and He shall be a Son to Me?" (Hebrews 1:5) "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) In Revelation 14"14, Daniel 7:13 and Ezekiel 1:26-28 we see one like a son of man. We know Yeshua was not an angel as some believe. Yes, Yeshua had a body of flesh and bone as all humans have. Now we ask the question was Yeshua God. Within His body dwelt the fullness of God. (Colossians 2:9) Yeshua is the word of God all things were created through Him. You deside what you want to believe I pray it will be God's words not mans.

Before we go to the garden of eden, we will look at our first Messianic prophecy of Jesus. "I will put enmity between you and the womem, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel".(Genesis 3:14-15) When we look at the last passover meal, Jesus said; "he who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me". (John 13:18; Psalm 41:9) What did David and Jesus mean by this statement? We find our answer in John 13:27: "After the morsel, Satan then entered into him". Therefore Jesus said to Him," what you do, do quickly". Who did Satan enter? Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. This should be a lesson for all believers. When we hold the Sword of Truth and stand on the true word of God, Satan looses. When we hold false doctrine and myths in our hand, Satan wins.

From the time that Eve gave into the temptation of Satan, a spirtual war between God and Satan started. God now rules from heaven and Satan has become the ruler of this world. We find Jesus being led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan. What did Jesus tell Satan? "It is written, man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4: Deuteronomy 8:3) "It is written, you shall not put the Lord your God to the test." (Matthew 4:7: Deuteronomy 6:16) "Go Satan! For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." (Matthew 4:10:Deuteronomy6:13:10:20) We as God's people need to also stand againt satan, and be as the Messiah.

"The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they may not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4:4) "No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light". (2Corinthians 11:14) "But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ", (2 Corinthians 11:3)

This is why it is so important to put on the full armor of God. Otherwise we may be deceived as Eve was, and never find the Messiah. "The Lord said to Satan, Where have you come from? Then Satan answered the Lord and said, from roaming about on the earth and walking around on it." (Job 2:2) "Be of sober spirit be on the alert. Your advarsary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8) There isn't any way I can give you all that I learned from Genesis to Revelation, but remember this, you cannot serve two masters. You cannot stand with God and Satan at the same time. You must chose who you will stand with and that can only be one.

Let us take a few mimutes to look at Satan and sin. "Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He himself likewise also partook of the same, that though death He might render powerless him who had the power of death." (Hebrews 2:14) In order for us to receive forgiveness of sin, there must be a blood sacrifice. Only Jesus could do this for us as a man. He became God's blood sacrfice for the world. "So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground. Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering; but for Cain and for his offering he had no regard. Cain's offering came from the earth since God had cursed the earth. He could not excpt his offering. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell." What took place here between these two brothers? Cain's offering to the Lord was fruit of the ground. We know God was not pleased with Cain and his offering. (Genesis 4:3-5)

Next we have Abel who offered a blood sacrifice, an offering of fat portions to the Lord. We know God was pleased with Abel. We also know Cain became so angry that he killed Abel his brother. "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door, and it's desire is for you, but you must master it." (Genesis 4:7) This is what we see in the world today. You have Abel who loved the Lord, listened to Him and wanted to please Him. Then you have Cain who wanted to do his own offering, but not God's way, but by his way only. Did he please God? No!He did not please God and follow His instructions! So I ask, who do you follow? Do you stand on God's word and do all you can to please Him. Perhaps not. Maybe you want to do everything your way, never listening to God's word even when you hear truth.. Yeshua suffered and payed a great price for our salvation. After all, He was the Lamb of God in the flesh.

This is what I would say to those with their feel good religion, who never hear all of God's word. Wake up, learn God's word! Stand firm on sound doctrine, not having your ears tickled, with myths and man's false teachings. (2Timothy 4:3) "Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lust, and saying, where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation. For when they maintain this, it excapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reseved for fire, kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:3-7) "When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation." (Proverbs 10:25)

Just as the world was destroyed by water in the day of Noah. When the Judgement of God comes upon the world it will be by fire. As I said before their is only one path that leads to eternal life. The day of the Lord will be against all those who stand against Him. "Seek the lord, all you humble of the earth who have carried out His ordinances; seek righteousness, seek humility, perhaps you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger." (Zephaniah 2:1-3) "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up." (2 Peter 3:10) To help you understand what is being said here. You should read all of Zephaniah 2 and all of 2 Peter 3 then you will have a full understanding.

"Listen to me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called; I am He, I am the first, I am also the last. Surley My hand founded the earth, and My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together." (Isaiah 48:12-13) The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel. Thus declares the Lord who streches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him." (Zechariah 12:1) "For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and trasfered us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and by Him." (Colossians 1:13-16)

Think of Jesus at the door of your heart knocking to come in. What would He find if you invited Him in? Would He find you building your faith, on the fondation stone of redemption. Are would He find you living in the world, like all the unbelievers. Will Yeshua at His second coming find faith on the eaerth. (Luke 18:8) "This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world." (Matthew 13:35) "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law" (Deuteronomy 29:29).

So far we have put the Old Testament into the New Testament, and the New Testament back into the Old Testament. They line up perfect with the truth of God's word, as one book, with the sword of truth in our hands. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16) "For since the creation of the world His invisable attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse," (Romans 1:20) The foundation stone of redemption will be in three parts, please go to part two.
