The Foundation Stone of Redemption

As you read the New Testament in todays world. How do you see Yeshua? In order to understand Yeshua, we need to understand the language and culture that He lived in 2000 years ago. Do not judge till you come to the end of this article. You may find truth and every one should want to know truth. As Yeshua said; "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me". (John 10:27) Do you know Yeshua? Would you know His voice if He called you? Do you follow Him each and everyday?

"Everyone who comes to me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when the flood occured, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built." (Luke 6:47-48) If your faith and beliefs are not built on the one and only foundation. Then your foundation will melt and fall from beneath you.

"According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." (1 Corinthians 3:10-15) Our foundation must be built on Yeshua, not on myths and false teachings.

Next we will look at the rock of our salvation. "O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation." (Psalm 95:1) "My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken." (Psalm 62:1-2) Yeshua is our rock and our salvation, without Him the new covenant would be useless. If Yeshua was just a Man sent by God, we would have a conflict in scripture. Since we know Yeshua is God, their is no conflict . When we have the full meaning of scripture there will never be a conflict within God's word.

"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosoph and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the Diety dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority." (Colossians 2:8-10)

"For I do not want you to be unaware, brethern, that our fathers were under the cloud and all passed through the sea; and all was baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food; and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ." (1 Corinthians 10:1-4) We know Paul was speaking to the Jewish people here in Corinth, as he always went to the Jewish people first, then to the Gentiles. We also need to ask the question, what is Paul refering to here as to Moses? In order to understand what Paul is refering to we must look at Moses and Yeshua within scripture.

We see Yeshua as a prophet. Why? "This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethern. This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness together with the angel who was speaking to him on Mount Sinai, and who was with our fathers; and he received living orcales to pass on to you" (Acts 7:37-38). To help you understand read Acts 3:22-23; and Deuteronomy 18:15-19.

In scripture we see Moses as the first redemer. We seeYeshua as our last redemer for Israel and then the nations. So was He like Moses? Yes, as Israel was baptized into Moses, we are now baptized into Yeshua the Messiah. As Moses brought the Torah to God's people at Mount Sinai. Yeshua came to give the full understanding of God's Torah. Yeshua is the fullness of the Torah, and the completion of our salvation. In these last days we walk in the teachings of Yeshua, for He is the only Word of God. If you are standing on another foundation in stead of Yeshua. Your salvation can never be complete.

"The Sheperd, the Stone of Israel." (Genesis 49:24) You may ask who is this stone of Israel? To help us understand who this stone is we must go to scripture. First we will look at Psalm 118:22;"The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone." (Psalm 118:22) Again we are told; "Have you not even read this scripture: The stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief corner stone." (Mark 12:10)

From the foudation of the world this rock, and this stone has became our salvation. Only through Yeshua the Stone will we find our redemation. To enter the Kingdom of God you half to stand on this foundation. You take away this foundation you will find yourself in the kingdom of Satan. As Paul said before be careful how you build on this foundation. As I said before there is only one path to God. Yes there is many paths to the kingdom of the god of this world (Satan).

"Then He shall become a sanctuary; but to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, and a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Many will stumble over them, then they will fall and be broken; they will even be snared and caught. Bind up the testamony, seal the law among my diciples." (Isaiah 8:14-16)

"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" (Job 38:4-7) Yeshua is our foundation as all things were created through Him and by Him. Yeshua is also the cornerstone for our salvation and redemption for man kind.

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone." (Ephesians 2:19-20) Who is no longer strangers and aliens? The nations who stand firm on the foundation built on Yeshua.

Paul tells us to remember that we were Gentiles in the flesh. We now become fellow citizens with the saints. (Ephesians 2:19-21) Where is our citizenship? God tells us; "He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles". (Romans 9:24) "I will call those who were not my people, My people, and her who was not beloved, beloved. And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, you are not my people, there they shall be called sons of the living God" (Romans 9:25-26; Hosea 2:23; 1:10). Paul then quotes Isaiah; "The remnant that will be saved" (Romans 9:27-29; Isaiah 10:23; 1:9). Will all Jews be saved? No! Just as all Gentiles will not be saved.

"What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at the law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as though it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone, just as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and who believes in Him will not be disappointed" (Romans 9:30-33).

Without faith we will never be complete in the Messiah. Just doing good deeds and trying to work our way into the Kingdom of God. Will not work! Why? Because our salvation is based upon faith, and the blood of Yeshua. We now become citizens with all the saints in the Kingdom of God.This is your new man in Messiah, Jew and Gentile walking and worshiping to gether as one. There can be no seperation between Jew and Gentile. Just as there can be no seperation between Judah and Isreal. In order to be one in the Messiah we must stand together as one new man.

To help us understand God's message within the New Testament. "And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For this is contained in scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and He who believes in Him will not be disappointed. This precious value, then is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, the stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone, and a stone of stubling and a rock of offense; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a people for God's own possesion, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:4-9)

Who is Peter Speaking to in the verses above? We know Peter was speaking to the Jewish people. Who was scattered through out the Disaporia. Keep this in mind Peter was the apostle for the Jewish people. Why would Christians find this hard to believe? After all Jesus Himself said upon this rock I will build my Church. The Church is built upon Jews and Gentilies, we are all the bride of the Messiah. Jew and Gentile standing together as one new man in Messiah. Their is no Gentile only club as some people teach and believe. I have seen the same thing among some of the Messianic Jews. No Gentilies allowed. How sad we cannot stand on God's word only.

Today we can read all the writings of the Church fathers, something we could not do before the internet. When one goes back and looks at the early Church writings. Here is what you read, Gentiles being persecuted and killed for standing with the Jewish people. Not allowed to keep Sabbath, feast days or anything pertaining to the Jewish people. Our Church fathers gave us lies built on anti semitism and false doctrine. They took Yeshua and turned Him into a Gentile and then made the Church number one. We can not build on the foundation of Jesus Christ with false doctrine.

When Yeshua came the first time He brought the new covenant. The nation of Israel is not just Judah. The renewed covenant was to go to all of the twelve tribes of Israel first. Then to the nations (Romans1:6). No man can change God's word. No one can say they have replaced Israel. I know replacement Theology teach all blessings are given to them only. All curses given by God go to the Jewish people. If that is true then Jesus is cursed also for He is a Jew from the tribe of Judah. All of the twelve apostles were Jewish, so they must be cursed also. Paul says He is from the tribe of Benjamin and a Pharisee, learned the Torah under Rabbie Gamliel. Then he would be cursed also along with Yeshua the aposles and all of the nation of Israel. The only way this teaching could be true is for Jesus, all twelve aposles and Paul, would half to convert and become Gentilies, and start a new religion. We know that cannot be true as God's words tell us otherwise. All through the Old Testament and the New Testament we see the remnant of Israel.

Do you see how foolish all this replacement Theology is. There will always be a remnant of God's chosen people. In these last days and we are in the last days. You have Jewish people today right in little Israel. Coming to their Jewish Messiah daily there are so many they cannot be counted. They also remain and stay Jewish following their Jewish Messiah. We also have Gentiles daily being touched by the Holy Spirit. Returning to the true roots of the Messiah, as taught in Acts by the apostles. We now follow a Jewish Messiah and the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. We realize our Church fathers have taught us lies, when it comes to the Jewish nation.

Anti Semitism was Satan's way of trying to destroy the nation of Israel, not just Israel the Gentiles as well. There are so many prophecies within the Old Testament on the Gentiles. "He says, It is too small a thing that you should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth". (Isaiah 49:6) This is God speaking on restoreing the twelve tribes of Israel and to bring salvation to the Gentiles. We know this Servent is no other then Yeshua.

"But I say, surley Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, I will make you jealous by that which is not a nation, by a nation without understanding will I anger you." (Romans 10:19; Deuteronomy 32:21 Isaiah 9:2-7) Just as Israel was to be a light to the nations. We as Gentiles are to make Israel jealous. From what I have seen through the Church age. We have not made Israel jealous. Israel went one way and the Gentiles followed another path. Now we ask how could we make Israel jealous?

First we need to stand with Israel on a firm foundation. Next we need to be like Ruth, with an everlasting love for God's chosen people Israel. Your people shall be my people, and your God, shall be my God. After all Yeshua is Jewish and our redeemer, surley we should love His people as He did. Take the time to learn about the Sabbath and the Seven Feast of Israel. You will be surprised how much you will learn having a better understand of Yeshua.

I firmaley believe if the nations had stood firm on Yeshua and God's word in the 1st and second century. We would not be running to and fro having our ears tickled with all the false doctrine of today. We went through 400 years of the dark ages. Then the reformation, yet we still did not return back to a firm foundation. Most people say they are Christians yet they are now walking on another path. I aim refering here to the New Age movement of today. As well as all the cults plus all of the false doctrine that is being taught. You cannot build a firm foundation on Yeshua with false doctrine. Yet I see so many Christians who believe and follow these teachings.

Here is one of our problems that I see today. So many pastors and teachers do not teach all of God's Word. They pick and choose what will make people feel good in todays world. Where is our fear of God? We will listen to myths and false doctrine then close our ears to the truth of God's Word. I see so many running to and fro straight into apostasy. You cannot teach someone truth if their ears are closed. It is never to late for God's people to come back and stand on God's truth. Your redemption is very important do not harden your heart in disbelief. Study the Bible for your self and see if I am correct. The Holy Spirit is our greatest teacher, make sure you are listenening to Him and not man.
